Maximal Lactate Steady State (MLSS) is considered the gold standard of endurance diagnostics. In Lab mode, you can record real MLSS tests (typically 2β3 constant-load tests of 30 min) and link them directly to your step-test results.
The system then compares all 7 calculation methods against the true MLSS value and shows which method is most accurate for this athlete β personalized, not generic.

In Lab mode, you can measure VLamax directly: the athlete performs a maximal 15-second sprint, then lactate is measured at multiple time points. From the lactate rise, the system calculates VLamax using the Mader formula.
This is much more precise than a step-test estimate and gives you an exact view of the athleteβs glycolytic capacity.
