Personal pain coach after surgery for sports injuries

Randomized study with 148 adolescents and adults before orthopedic surgery for a sports injury: pain coaching in person, via telehealth, or standard care. Outcomes were pain intensity, opioid use, sleep and physical function up to three months after surgery.
