Esflurbiprofen patch for pain after acute sports injuries: placebo-controlled trial

Double-blind, randomized phase 2 trial with 200 adults (18 to 60 years) with a fresh bruise, strain or sprain of an arm or leg after blunt trauma in sport: hydrogel patch with 165 mg esflurbiprofen or identical placebo patch. The main outcome was pain on movement at 72 hours.
