Physiotherapy, shockwave and photobiomodulation for Achilles tendinopathy in runners: three-month pilot study

Randomized pilot study with 46 runners (aged 18 to 65, at least 10 miles per week before injury) with mid-portion Achilles tendinopathy: physiotherapy alone, plus shockwave, or plus shockwave and light therapy. Outcomes at three months: VISA-A, calf raises to fatigue, tendon cross-sectional area.
