Electrical stimulation plus eccentric training after ACL reconstruction: strength symmetry, landing mechanics and cartilage

Double-blind randomized trial by the University of Michigan (MiACLR) with 135 enrolled patients aged 14 to 45: 8 weeks each of high-intensity electrical stimulation and heavy eccentric leg press versus the same treatments at low intensity. Follow-up to 18 months.
