Platelet-rich plasma plus cast versus cast alone for acute lateral ankle sprain

Randomized study from Mexico with 21 adults (18 to 60 years) with an acute grade 2 or 3 lateral ankle sprain: two weeks of lower-leg cast, with or without a single injection of 5 mL autologous PRP. Function scores and pain after six months.
