Growth hormone around ACL surgery to prevent thigh strength loss

Randomized, triple-blinded phase 2 trial by the University of Michigan with 20 men aged 18 to 35: somatropin or placebo twice daily from one week before to five weeks after ACL reconstruction. Primary outcome: knee extension strength at 26 weeks.
