Traumeel ointment and gel versus diclofenac gel for acute ankle sprain

Randomized, double-blind, multicenter phase 3 trial with 449 enrolled athletes aged 18 to 40 with a fresh lateral ligament injury: Traumeel ointment, Traumeel gel or diclofenac gel, 2 g three times daily for 14 days each. Primary outcomes: pain reduction and daily function on day 7.
